  1. Hello, my name is Ruth and I have a brother who is struggling with a meth addiction. I saw your YouTube about family members struggling with addiction and some steps to take in helping them. I do feel I am on the right track to helping my brother but would love for you to send me any resources or other helpful info you believe may pertain to this situation. My brother is working but very far removed from my life. He had a girlfriend who uses as well and he is out of contact with most friends and family. He has reached out to me a few times, but on phones that are no longer connected. One main question I would ask you, is would you put money into meeting with psychologists/interventionists even if your not sure they are the right fit for the situation. I wish money wasn’t an issue, but I’m an already struggling college student and, although our mom is in the picture, she isn’t at a place to take financial responsibility for anything. There really isn’t anyone to support in that way, and I know he could possibly get some financial aid, but only for rehab that I know of. Anyways, I know you don’t know me, but it seems you’ve stood where I stand. I believe in God, and know He has something better for my brother, and I truly have ALL the hope for him. I just want to make sure I’m doing all I can do as a sister and friend. Thanks for posting the video!

  2. I have been diagnosed with bipolar they first though it wasnt bad then he saw me in suicidal depression. Im having a hard time dealing with suicidal depression. I keep gaining weight i dont feel attractive. And when im up i get paranoid and see and hear things. Im waiting for them to fix the meds but its hard to wait. I dont sleep without adavan anymore and worst days i take 3 1mg a day. Any help? The suicide hotline just frustrates me i just wanna fix it and hearing ppl just listen and not help frustrates me and makes it worst. Im lost on what to do. I go out and volenteer and try and be social. But it doesnt help. I stop eating when the depression hits worst case i droped 80 pounds in 3 months and ate less than 1/2 a meal a day
