When your loved one or you face diabetes it is often a challenging road. When there also also addictions it becomes an even harder road. The best way to handle this is to find information and resources. Our website is run by a noted mental health advocate who also lives with a mental illness.
Each day we offer free educational articles teaching about these topics. We also provide a wonderful library of books teaching about these topics. We also have on the right several rehabs that work to help those who face schizophrenia and addictions. Our goal is to connect you with the tools to help handle these severe struggles.
You may ask how diabetes impacts living a sober life. The fact is many with mental illness struggle to handle their illness. The reality may be facing lots of doctors, therapists, problems with relationships and other hard problems. Many reach to addiction to cope with the pain and feelings that are so emotionally heavy.
We believe there is hope for those who face these issues. Our goal is to help others learn to find optimism, support, knowledge and hope. When they realize that they are not alone there is often a potential to correct many of the most difficult situations. If you have a loved one or you face these issues please know you are not alone.
