Why does fear hold us back? Many times our inner voice tells us why we should feel worthless, hopeless and not attempt new activities. What happens when we fight these feelings and keep going?
We arrive at a sense of accomplishment knowing we did not let fear win. I have had many times I am nervous to start a new activity and then feel happy that I had the courage to continue.
This weekend is an opportunity to try something new. It may be taking a walk in a park. You could find a group to take a class or meet others. One idea is to try something you have thought about doing.
When we are open to new ideas we reach a higher level. I have seen many grow their courage and strength. The first step is being willing to admit your fears and decide to not let them stop you.
