I enjoy teaching lessons and often follow the advice I share. I picked up my daughter from first grade and the window on her door would not close.
I attempted to close it but was not able to accomplish this. I went to a local repair place and had them look at it. Even though I am tired I remember how we treat others determines much of our life.
During the wait I shared some nice discussions with the staff who runs the repair shop. They were kind and friendly as we spoke about their work, being in Florida and plans for the weekend.
I used the time waiting to connect with others in the store and try to spread a small amount of optimism. This changed an experience that may have appeared frustrating into one that I enjoyed. It is our choice how we respond to obstacles. When warmth is our decision we share love.
