I am spending some time caring for my one year old son. He just walked over to the table, picked up a bottle of water, unscrewed the cap and started to drink it himself. This simple experience is showing me how quickly he is maturing. I beam with pride knowing my son is learning and adapting to our world.

This reminds me of a very important lesson. It is to remember the days when your kids are young. They grow so quickly that before I realize they will be adults. I am enjoying spending time today connecting with my son.

These are the moments that provide meaning in our lives. When you share and connect with others you are growing. It may seem simple but this is a wonderful way to find higher levels of happiness.
