During the warm months, it is easy to enjoy being outdoors. When it is colder many of us give up our efforts to do physical activities. One of the best ways to improve your mood is to use your body. I encourage you to find a yoga, stretching, dancing, Zumba or any workout DVD. You may even access thousands of free videos on YouTube.com. If you cannot go outside do something indoors.
If you take a few minutes to stretch and move it will improve your mood. Many of us become depressed when we cannot be outdoors. I am going to take my own advice today. This includes doing stretches, squats and other indoor activities. I am watching my one year old son but know I must not stay stagnant.
